Yvonne Delahaye

Yvonne trained at The Birmingham School of Acting. In her long career, she has played a diversity of roles too numerous to mention, but favourites include Lady Bracknell in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING ERNEST, Lady Markby in AN IDEAL HUSBAND, Madame Arcati in BLITHE SPIRIT and portraying Faye in JUST A MINUTE at Wembley Arena in front of 12,000 people! She has toured national UK No 1 theatres in the comedy farces THE TART AND THE VICAR'S WIFE, playing the leading role of The Vicar's Wife and Joan in WHO GOES BARE and played Princess/Bill Badger in THE RUPERT BEAR SHOW!  In Germany, she played Flora in A SLIGHT ACHE and a vampire in NEIGHBOURS WITH LONG TEETH in a six month tour.  She also played six roles in HOLGAR GOES TO ENGLAND at the English Theatre in Hamburg.

Yvonne also has an array of experience in TV and Film. She played the Welsh Cleaner in a sketch with Alistair McGowan and Ronnie Ancona in MONKEY TROUSERS on ITV1 and played the daughter-in-law to Liz Smith in the same series.  Other TV roles include Sarah Pape in THE HUTTON INQUIRY RECONSTRUCTION for Sky TV, Mrs O in SECRETS AND LIES for Japanese TV, Nurse in CROSSROADS, Nurse in BOON, Secretary in YESTERDAYS DREAMS and a Social Worker in THE BILL. Film appearances include roles in RHIANNA, THE BEACH, MISLED and TRYING TOO HARD.

Yvonne's TV presenting work includes presenting a breakfast TV show and various shopping and overseas property channels on Sky. She has also voiced corporate DVDs, commercials and video games, as well as appearing in internet virals and series, photo shoots, commercials and corporate videos. Yvonne's Musical Theatre experience includes tours of CABARET, WEST SIDE STORY, JOSPEH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT, GODSPELL and Divine Divas' own LIGHTS, CAMERA...RESTING!  Yvonne also trained as a jazz singer with Jilly Jarman and performed around London and Singapore.  She also runs a corporate communication skills company www.speakout-training.co.uk
